The area affected by the intervention is located in Pero, south of the Rho Exhibition Center. Prior to the design phase, it was necessary to undertake a country analysis work, through the creation of a resource map. The latter has highlighted the services offered by the site and the gaps in it. The project involves the construction of residential areas, tertiary buildings and a cinema. The two elements that characterize the intervention are the search for a unifying public space and the continuation of the existing park. The typological choice of residential buildings is concretized by court typology, referring to the Ijburg district in Amsterdam. As for the residences overlooking the park’s design, these are inspired by Christoph Mayr Fingerle’s architecture.
